We champion BTEs as a pathway to economic and social revitalization for Black communities because the data suggest communities that don’t are leaving talent, money and opportunity on the table. At BTM, we practice advocacy through our programs and our policy recommendations.

STATE OF THE BLACK TECH ECOSYSTEM

This annual event is designed to stimulate conversation and action around the status of Black Tech Ecosystems —locally, nationally, and globally. The event offers a rare opportunity for BTE stakeholders to connect, exchange best practices, consider new questions, and plot the way forward. Past participants have included diversity and inclusion experts from the tech and business sectors, researchers, government leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, human resource practitioners, venture capitalists, community leaders, students, and policymakers.
